Twenty Seventeen, the all new look
Last year we talked about Twenty Sixteen Theme Launch, and as a regular practice WordPress team already started working on Twenty Seventeen theme this year and is now ready with its initial version.

Is Twenty Seventeen ready?
Not yet, it is still in initial phase and will be the default theme to be bundled with WordPress 4.7 update. Mel Choyce, who is a design engineer at Automattic is credited for creating Twenty Seventeen.
Packed with WordPress 4.7 upgrade, this theme will be suitable for any business model or product sellers.
This theme will support single page layout having all the components any business will ever need, which include Home page banner followed by the Menu bar then About, Services, Recent News, and Contact section.

- Support from WordPress 4.0 to higher versions.
- Use of Normalize.css

- A better flow for using a static page as your front page.

Another thing WordPress team is bringing in with Twenty Seventeen will be removal of preprocessors used in the development of themes, instead they’ll be using plain CSS to keep it easier to understand and customize.
