DigitalOcean is one of the pretty famous cloud infrastructure solutions provider in market today. It gives users flexibility to install many services/tools on cloud droplets with just one click.
Today I’ll be telling you how you can setup your own Plesk hosting panel with DigitalOcean droplet.
You will need a basic plan ( 5$ ) for accessing the services and the panel.
At first you’ll login to your account and click on Create > Droplets
Now you’ll be presented with option to choose an image, you can go to ‘Marketplace’ tab and then select Plesk.
Now select a plan, by default it will be ‘Standard’
Then scroll down to the datacenter region, and select the datacenter you want your application to be deployed at
Now scroll down to ‘Finalize and Create’ section, name the droplet, give a tag and click ‘Create’
It will now start setting up the plesk and will assign an IP to it
Once the installation is finished, you’ll receive an email on your registered mail ID having all the details:
If you’ll hit the IP with port 8443 you’ll the setup in progress:
Once the setup is done, you’ll see the Plesk login screen, use your credentials you received on mail to login to Plesk.
At first login you’ll be asked to change the password for your Plesk
Plesk will initialize now
And finally will be ready to use
